Bob Wheeler '67, a three-sport All-Catholic at Erie and Torresdale, was inducted into the NC Hall of Fame on Tuesday evening before a large and receptive crowd.  Supported by his immediate family and scores of close friends, "Wheels" reflected on the influence North played in his development not only as an athlete but in the choices which dictated his path in life.  As the MVP of the City Basketball Championship game, Bob went on to star at the University of Baltimore.  Wheeler related a poignant tale of his mother's unabashed support for her son as well as the role Mr. Fran Dougherty played in preparing him for his career at North.  Bob made special mention of his brother, John "Jaybird" Wheeler, thanking him for serving our country in VietNam.
